Celebrating Green Week 2025 – Small Actions, Big Impact

03 Mar 2025

The Centre for Climate Engagement is gearing up for the Hughes Hall Green Week 2025, a week-long celebration of sustainability, community action, and positive environmental change. This year’s theme, Small Actions, Big Impact, highlights how everyday choices—from saving energy to reducing food waste—can contribute to a more sustainable future. Aligning with this the Centre is also recruiting an Easter Intern opportunity to work with the Centre for three weeks over Easter.

Taking place from 10-14 March, Green Week will offer a diverse range of activities, from expert talks and interactive workshops to hands-on sustainability initiatives. Throughout the week, CCE will join the College community to explore practical ways to reduce waste, lower carbon footprints, and embrace a greener lifestyle.

“Green Week is a reminder that sustainability is within everyone’s reach. Whether it’s choosing a plant-based meal, fixing something instead of throwing it away, or reducing energy use, small actions truly add up.”

Alexander Robinson,

Hughes Hall MCR Environmental Impact Representative,
