CCE’s Head of Academic Engagement, Dr Eldrid Herrington, will participate in the third annual Oxford Sustainable Finance Summit, which brings together leading researchers from across the University of Oxford with practitioners, policymakers, regulators, and civil society organisations. The conference will examine the latest developments in sustainable finance, reflect on lessons learned, and chart the way forward

The summit concludes with an Oxford Union style debate where an interesting motion is debated between two teams of three speakers. The Proposition and Opposition teams this year will be debating the following motion: This House believes that the global ESG backlash is justified. Dr Herrington will speak on the side of the Opposition, arguing that the global ESG backlash is not justified.
