Calling climate conscious Branding and Communications Managers or Team Administrators to join our committed climate governance team!

The Centre for Climate Engagement at Hughes Hall, Cambridge, hosts the Secretariat of the Climate Governance Initiative, (CGI) a project in collaboration with the World Economic Forum.  The CGI Secretariat supports the growth of groups of board Directors around the world to form networks, known as Chapters. There are now over 20 such Chapters, including Chapter Zero in the UK, whose mission is to mobilise boards to accelerate the net zero transition.  The Secretariat team plays a significant role in both maximising the impact and collaboration of the existing chapters and accelerating the development of new ones.

The Climate Governance Initiative Secretariat is building out the team with two new roles, in response to the initiative’s rapid growth. Both roles will contribute to the on-going development of our committed, collaborative team, supporting the global CGI network to mobilise boards to act on the climate challenge.

Branding and Communications Manager

In this new role, the post holder will shape branding and communications across a growing, international initiative with huge potential for driving impact in board rooms around the world. The role will report to the Centre for Climate Engagement Director, who also acts as the Head of the Climate Governance Initiative Secretariat.

Team Administrator

This is an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to play a vital role within our Climate Governance Initiative team, contributing to the efficient and effective working of the programme. The role holder will be supporting the CGI Governance structure as well the emerging new chapters of the CGI, in addition to providing administrative support to the team, and engagement and communications support for the programme.

Further information and how to apply for either of these roles can be found here. The closing date for applications is Midday GMT on Friday 12 August 2022.

The College welcomes expressions of interest and applications from candidates from all communities and a diversity of backgrounds. You are encouraged to complete the College’s Equality and Diversity form which should be emailed to hr@hughes.cam.ac.uk.
